Madrid es una ciudad preciosa. Hoy he dado un paseo largo, larguísimo. He paseado por la Gran Vía , la calle de Alcalá y la Castellana . Son las calles más largas de la capital. Aquí hay grandes almacenes, zapaterías, camiserías, cafés, bares, restaurantes, etc. Aquí, por lo general, la gente compra lo mismo que nosotros en Moscú: corbatas, abrigos, trajes, chaquetas o americanas, camisas, sombreros. Los sombreros son algo distintos de los de Moscú, pero los españoles llevan mucho la boina y también la gorra de visera. Las mujeres visten como en todas partes. Sin embargo, es precioso verlas el domingo, cuando van a la iglesia, tocadas con sus velos y, también, presenciar la salida del trabajo de las modistillas derrochando gracia y con el andar menudo y saleroso inconfundible de la mujer madrileña. En Semana Santa, la mujer española luce sus bellas mantillas negras o blancas, colocadas sobre altas peinetas de concha.

Mañana, mis amigos y yo visitaremos la Plaza de Emilio Castelar, donde veremos la célebre fuente, llamada „La Cibeles”. Iremos también a la Plaza de Colón y a la Plaza de España, donde podré admirar el imponente monumento a Cervantes.

Future Simple / Imperfect of the Indicative Mood (Futuro imperfecto de indicativo)

The future simple of the indicative mood is used to express actions that will happen in the future.

Futuro imperfecto/simple is formed by adding the following endings to the infinitive verb:

The conjugation of some irregular verbs of individual conjugation in Futuro imperfecto:

The irregular verbs ir, ser, vestir, lucir conjugate in the future tense without deviations, for example: iré, irás; seré, serás etc.

II. Translate into English:

Hoy he comprado una camisa y una corbata, porque todos vamos al teatro. Hemos comido en un restaurante, después hemos tomado café en un bar de la calle de Alcalá. Juan y yo hemos ido a la Plaza de España para ver el monumento a Cervantes. Por la noche he dormido bien, porque estaba cansado. Por la mañana he recibido cartas de Moscú, las he leído y me he levantado para ir a Correos.

I often buy ties because I like nice ties and shirts. In Moscow I would always buy them in a big store near my house. Today I bought ties in Madrid. I bought two ties for myself, but tomorrow I will buy for my father. I will also buy a Spanish mantilla for my mother. In Moscow I will give them all this. — With whom will you (p. f.) go to the store? — With Jose. — When will you see him? — Today in the afternoon. — We will also go with you and see what you buy. — Thank you very much. Then we will all go for a walk through the streets of Madrid. I will see Madrid at night and then I will write a letter to my parents.
